Thank you for all of the ways your loving support and contributions have sustained us and our work through this year of transition.

I write with an organizational update, as many of you have expressed curiosity.

The Eco-Institute has successfully transitioned from an independent nonprofit to join a cooperative national network of mission-aligned projects via Inquiring Systems.  It feels wonderful to be part of this network, collaborating for a regenerative future.

Dissolving an independent nonprofit corporation of this size and complexity is not a simple task.  Kudos & thanks to Board Members who have steadily navigated this process.

Some of you may be familiar with this article, titled "The Executive Director Job is Impossible."  We explored various alternative leadership structures, including "co-directorship," but "external operations support" seems to be the perfect solution for this chapter.

As always, we hold this guiding question:

How might we contribute to the movement towards social and ecological healing?

Through fiscal sponsorship with Inquiring Systems in California, educational programs have continued without interruption.

Besides the Eco-Institute Programs, Sanctuary Farm has held gatherings such as a Food Policy Conference, a Southeastern Social Care Collective Fundraiser, a Yoga & Art Retreat, the annual conference for the NC Chapter of Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women, Bar Mitzvahs & Bat Mitzvahs, and a Native Men’s Gathering.

We are constantly inspired by the ways that this land holds and moves people, providing the quiet peace and deep nature connection we long for.

We hope you will join us soon.
