You, our community, are our best advocates. Do you know an 18-28 year old who should be part of the Rising Earth Immersion? Would you connect them with us? We are happy to offer you a $250 thank-you bonus each time you refer someone who enrolls. See the policy below for details.
To refer a friend, simply ask them to mention your name (and provide your contact info to us) when they fill out their application. There is a space in the application for them to say how they learned about the program. You can also use the button below as a draft if you plan to email them.
RISING EARTH REFERRAL BONUS POLICY
THE BASICS:
Earn $250 per candidate for referring participants to the Rising Earth Immersion! When a person who you refer successfully enrolls in the program, we’ll send you $250!
The following policy is effective 6/20/22 through 12/31/2022.
ELIGIBILITY FOR REFERRAL BONUS
The referring party must be an individual, not an organization or company. Eco-Institute payroll staff, Board members, and professional gap year counselors, coaches, and advisors do not qualify. Referrals made prior to the initiation of this bonus program do not qualify for bonuses.
NON-ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES
A referral bonus will NOT be paid out if the referred candidate:
Does not enroll in the Rising Earth Immersion program.
Has submitted a program application within the last 12 months
Has already been referred by someone else
Is a recent or current Eco-Institute employee, Board Member, or contractor, or a gap year advisor, coach or consultant
REFERRAL BONUS PAYMENT TERMS
Eligible individuals who refer a candidate for the Rising Earth Immersion, meet all above qualifications, and have their name identified by the candidate, will be eligible to receive $250 in the form of one payment made upon the candidate’s enrollment in the program. Enrollment is defined by enrollment forms being signed and, where applicable, deposit being paid.
Payments will be made by check or via PayPal.
PROCESS TO REFER A CANDIDATE
When submitting their application, candidates must acknowledge the individual who referred them. Notwithstanding any provision in this program, The Eco-Institute has no obligation to accept any referred candidate, or to offer them an interview. Further, any person who refers a candidate under this program shall not be regarded as a “finder” under applicable law.
TAX LIABILITY
Referral bonuses are paid pre-tax from The Eco-Institute at Pickards Mountain. The Eco-Institute at Pickards Mountain will report referral bonus payments to the appropriate tax authorities. The referral bonus recipient is solely responsible for payment of any taxes on amounts received.
