If the world is to be healed through human efforts, I am convinced it will be by ordinary people, people whose love for this life is even greater than their fear, people who can open to the web of life that called us into being...
— Joanna Macy, Eco-Philosopher and Environmental Activist

Dear Facilitators of the Work That Reconnects,

Greetings of early Autumn. In response to a call from our beloved teacher Joanna Macy, we invite you to gather with us at the Eco-Institute in North Carolina, to reconnect, deepen our personal and collective resilience and create a shared vision for the future of this blessed work.

This event is in response to a larger call from dear Joanna and the WTR Network Weavers, for facilitators in various bioregions to join together to strengthen our spirits in solidarity and to share resources that can continue to expand the reach of this work and support our world more deeply through these challenging times. We will engage in nourishing conversation and a synergy of ideas, guide one other through The Spiral in our favorite ways, and support one another to bring this work even more fully to our various communities.

Following our facilitator gathering, we will flow into a full WTR weekend workshop called Deep Resilience, taking turns leading and journeying more fully through The Spiral. This weekend of Deep Resilience will be open to all participants who are interested in the work, regardless of their level of experience. We invite all facilitators to stay throughout the weekend to be part of the full experience as community.

We are so grateful to have this work to collectively hold our broken-open hearts, to give us clarity, and empower us with active hope for the Great Work of our times.

In these fragile times, each of us carries a torch, burning brightly within our hearts. Let us bring our lights together to create a soulfire that will illuminate our way forward.

For Our World,
Val Silidker, Megan Toben, Beth Remmes
